Jewels of the Red Carpet….Isla Fisher in Harry Winston Statement Necklace, Lady Gaga in Tiffany & Co., Taranji P. Henson in Roberto Coin and Catherine Zeta Jones who’s Lorraine Schwartz’ emerald drops were the talk of the carpet…….she said she was “hopeful” her hubby, a winner of the evening’s award, would love them too!
The Red Carpet of the Golden Globes was stunning but the ‘ice-ing’ on the cake for me this year were the vast number of jewels that were on display on the A+ Celebs. The 2018 Golden Globes, where black was the gown color of the evening, were filled with sparkles but this year seemed to take it over the top. Also, the destination of the jewels changed up a bit……much of the dramatic pieces were focused at the neck with Statement Necklaces taking the lead, which had belonged to the ears in the past….possibly due to the increased number of strapless, plunging and otherwise bareness at the top. Earrings were present with lots of variety…..dangling and bold or subtle and close to the ear. Also, at the ear was the perfect place to show off color and emeralds were very much present on the carpet and the CZJ’s above were my vote as the most stunning. Last but not least, jewelry was very much a special way to enhance the several up-do’s making hair accessories the most unique approach to glam for the evening.
Since the jewelry of the night was such a hot topic, I loved researching all of the many details of the very special pieces created by the finest jewelers in the world from Tiffany to Harry Winston, Bulgari, Chopard and the ever-popular jewelry designer of the Hollywood Red Carpets, Lorraine Schwartz.
