Fun fact: The dress in the middle is “a sheer black tulle embroidered dress, inspired by machinery and found treasures around England using a mix of glass stones, faceted beads and tiny silver chains.” – @alexandermcqueen

Creative Director: Karl Lagerfeld with new C.D. Virginie WardTheme: Chanel in the Snow Spotlight: The show began with a minute of silence in Lagerfeld’s memory, followed by a voiceover of the legend saying “Oh! It’s like walking in a painting!”. The show wrapped up with a tear-filled finale full of Karl’s favorite muses (hello, Penelope!)

Creative Director: Nicolas Ghesquière Theme: “Geolocated” which Ghesquière describes as a “melting pot of different tribes coming together”Spotlight: The creation of a ‘museum inside a museum’. The iconic Parisian museum, Centre Pompidou was recreated inside the arguably even more iconic Louvre creating a backdrop as impressive as the collection.
