Fresh Pasta available for Purchase from Della Casa Pasta
Hi, Vicheka here and this past weekend, as Roz was leaving for Italy where she is beginning to indulge in lots of her favorite pastas, how appropriate that I attend Houston’s take on the many delicious ways to enjoy one of America’s favorite foods…….PASTA! I attended Italy-America’s Chamber of Commerce Texas and True Italian Taste’s “Authentic Italian Table: A Celebration of Pasta , Italy’s Gift to the World.” Featuring restaurants from D’Amico’s to Fresco Cafe Italiano to Mala Sichuan Bistro, there was plenty of different pasta to try from!
Taking place inside of Bayou CIty Event Center, there were plenty of parking spots and a/c (an added bonus especially in this Houston Summer Heat!). Each ticket includes parking, two drink tickets, and unlimited food samples.
Some of my personal favorites was from Fresco Cafe Italiano, you can really taste the quality and how fresh it was. Another favorite was the Italian Dumpling from Mia Bella, most likely a fusion, but it was the right amount of sweet and spicy.
