Fourteenth Annual Fierce & Fabulous Pet Set Soiree Gala, Chairs Princess Tatiana Sierra, Tama Lundquist, Tena Lundquist Faust and Honorees Susan and Dan Poggio
The Fourteenth Annual Fierce & Fabulous Pet Set Soiree at the Post Oak Hotel was a great fun night as usual and attended by over 400 guests. The evening had one focus being the continuation of the Chairs, the Lundquist sisters, two very philanthropic and compassionate gals with some help from their friends. These ladies have had a long time quest to provide care and love for sheltered animals and nothing could have been more apparent that evening.
The honorees for the evening were Susan and Dan Boggio. Susan has spent many years of her life caring for unwanted animals and in a very warm tribute to his wife, to the crowd, from her husband, he outlined her life of caring for animals which at times has been as many as 25 at a time.
The following are some of my favorite party pics of the evening filled with many pet lovers who have supported this cause for many years…….
Tena Lundquist Faust, John Evantz, Tama Lundquist
Party goers attending included Jan Duncan, Judge Ed Emmet and Gwen Emmett, Sue & Lester Smith, Rachel & Jeff Bagwell, Vivian Wise, Brian Teichman, Sidney & Don Faust, Elsie & Les Eckert, Linda & Carl Kuykendall, Lenny Matuziewski, Neal Hamil, John Evatz, and many, many more. See some photos below……
About Pet Set: Houston PetSet is a 501(c)(3) umbrella organization dedicated to making a difference by providing grants to animal welfare-related nonprofits in the Greater Houston area. By providing critical funds and working together with strategic partners, we seek to end homelessness and alleviate suffering for the animals. Our goal is to help those who are “in the trenches” on a daily basis rescuing, spaying, neutering, fostering, adopting and protecting Houston’s animals. We believe that the animal homelessness crisis in our community is a solvable problem.
It was a fabulous event. This organization has come so far and has made a huge difference in many dogs’ lives.
