Houston Restaurant Weeks is HERE, and we couldn’t be more excited. It always feels good to support our local restaurants and food bank, but this year in particular feels even more special.
HRW kicked off on August 1st and it’s going through September 6th. As always, HRW benefits the Houston Food Bank, and all our favorite restaurants are included. You can see the full list of participating restaurants (along with their menus and offerings) here, and below we’ve included our personal favorites. Enjoy!
Armando’s – Our favorite place to enjoy authentic Tex-Mex, Armando’s has been around since 1978 with its bold and flavorful menu. And the decor will take you all the way back to 1920s Mexico City.
B&B Butcher’s – This is where we come for the absolute best steaks, but they have so much more than just steak. We’ve been fans since B&B opened their doors, and we frequent it often.
Brasserie 19 – French food at its finest. Brasserie 19 is a Houston hot spot that has been around for years and loved by many. Everything on the menu is delicious, decadent, and divine!
Brennan’s – Since 1967 Brennan’s of Houston has been an institution in this city! People flock their left and right for all of life’s celebrations, and for good reason. With a great menu and a perfect atmosphere, it’s hard not to love it.
Café Rabelais – Two decades later, Café Rabelais is still a constant go-to for us. In the heart of Rice Village is this fabulous French spot with a laid back atmosphere and incredible food.
Orginal Carrabba’s on Kirby / Original Carrabba’s on Voss – You know by now Carrabba’s is one of our all time favorite restaurants that sometimes feels like our own dining room because we’re there so much! For good reason!
Damian’s – Another Italian favorite of ours, Damian’s is a top restaurant in our city. The menu is extensive, the service is great, and the atmosphere is perfection.
Grace’s – An ode to Johnny Carrabba’s late grandmother, Grace Mandola. The menu has everything from classic comforts salads and steak, and we love the Cajun flare.
La Table – A modern French restaurant that is as beautiful as it is delicious. Chef Conklin created a French inspired menu while also working with local artisans, ranchers, and producers.
Roma – Rice Village’s Italian eatery is a premier Italian restaurant known for its homemade traditional pastas, creative contemporary Italian cuisine, and its fine wine program.
Tony’s – Celebrating 56 years, Tony’s is one of the very best fine dining restaurants. From the absolutely perfect menu, freshest ingredients, incredible wine list, and top tier service, there’s a reason it’s been around for half a century!
