Beyoncé Receiving Fashion Icon of the Year Award
Monday night was the night in New York when the Fashion World hands out its ‘Academy Awards’ to its own. The event was held at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom and was filled with the who’s who of the industry, including designers, media, celebrities and all industry insiders. It’s one of fashion’s most glamorous and well attended evenings of the year. It should be noted that the big surprise of the evening was the crowning of Ms. Beyonce as the fashion icon of the year and her speech, a tribute to her Mom, was a highlight of the evening!
