(Interior Shot of Lupe Tortilla)
Last weekend, we had the pleasure of checking out Lupe Tortilla ‘s new Breakfast Menu. Known for their popular margaritas and fajitas, it wasn’t shocking that their breakfast menu proved to be up to par.
They serve a variety of dishes from tacos to omelets to egg benedicts! Of course there’s a touch of tex-mex to it, with dishes such as barbacoa benedict and enchiladas con huevos.
Before ordering food, we started off with drinks, Breakfast Rita (100% Agave Tequila, Triple Sec, lime, and fresh squeezed orange) and Sunrise en la Playa (Tequila, peach schnapps, orange, cranberry.)
We opted for Pancakes (comes with fruit) and the Carnita Benedict (Crispy carnita, bacon, grilled onion, chile lime hollandaise, cilantro, spicy serrano salsa.) The pancakes were fluffy and had a slight cake texture to it with the perfect level of sweet, making them way better than your average pancakes. The carnita benedict was flavorful and the potatoes were cooked just the way I like them, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I personally really liked the generous portion-size because I can eat half, pack the rest, and easily have a second meal.

I have tried their breakfast and it is the best of both worlds – beef fajitas and eggs! YUM!
