It’s time again to join M.A. and her bpptours back across the pond as we head to Florence, Italy and the Tuscan region for not just one but two tours in May and June of this awesome area. For this trip I will have the added pleasure of some time off in between the tours and will have my hubby, Alan, joining me for a visit to Milano and then an overnight train to Paris. Dinner in Milano and breakfast in Paris…..can’t get much better than that!
It always feels so special to get back to the exciting city of Florence. It feels like we were just in Tuscany and visiting my amazing homeland for 10 days but it was in fact, several months ago and it’s time for our first trip of the 2019 year with BPP Tours and our newest set of travel friends.
We are heading out this weekend and have our walking shoes ready and our eyes wide open for all of the amazing things that we will get to see and experience. From the street scene and the culture of this amazing Renaissance city combined with the shopping of Florence and nearby towns to the beautiful hillsides of Tuscany and amazing wine country….the experience is that of building a lasting memory! I also must admit that in planning this trip we have some special things we must visit….it is the 500th birthday of Leonardo da Vinci and there is a special exhibit in Florence we will be sure not to miss. Shopping will have some new spots that I will be trying and I’m totally ready for some great wine tastings and cooking lessons again! I must master pasta-making after all of these learning sessions!
Please stay tuned if Italy is one of the places that you love as I will be ‘socializing’ online with everyone through my Instagram and Facebook photos that I hope you will enjoy. Also, since my focus is many things Italian this coming month, you may see a little more Italy from MRG in your Inbox, as so many of you ask for more info on what we are seeing and experiencing while we are there. It will still be business-as-usual as well, but I know there will be much newness to report from this magnificent region of Italy in the days ahead.
To entice you to watch for more from MRG, below are some of the highlights from our May 2018 trip to Florence and Tuscany.
