Firenze, Italy……Fendi windows showcase what was the obvious Number One color in Italy last Fall as it was and still is going into Spring 2017 in the U.S……the not-so-mellow-YELLOW!
Direct from Italy: September 2016, my trip with a group of power-gals that were there to take in the Tuscan Sun and learn about Italian wines, culture, art, how to cook Tuscan and shop, shop, shop! The experience was awesome and you will be reading more about it as we progress into this new year and are readying for our next treck that will be happening this coming May! I held much of my images and stories for now as I returned to Texas and “life” and then holidays and just too much going on. However, after viewing the Golden Globe awards on Sunday and seeing that the number one color of the night was none other than Bold Yellow, I knew the time could not be better to share with all of you the color that I was obsessing over in both Tuscany and my later trip to Venezia. The “happy color” that all of the Italians seemed to love and had me falling for as well!
The following are just a sampling, there were so many more, of the images in yellow that caught my curious eye through my IPhone while we were busily visiting towns of all sizes! Heads up: get ready for Spring and Summer with this effervescent hue that although not the Pantone Color of this year which is called Greenery (I feel it will come later!) this will be a dominant choice for all……and remember, as I have always said, if you can’t do it head to toe then accessories and pops of color are the quickest way to make it your statement!
Love all these yellow street style shots!! So bright and cheerful.
