Celebrate the 4th of July at the 17th Annual Red Hot & Blue Festival & Fireworks Extravaganza at Town Green Park and along the Woodlands Waterway
As you can see, I am spreading my wings and stepping out of my Inner Loop comfort zone and have been venturing out to The Woodlands where lots of fun, exciting things are happening and I am certainly seeing why so many of my retailer friends are doing the same. I was amazed at all of the great shopping there is to be done, especially in the Market Street area…….Elaine Turner, Kendra Scott, Trina Turk, Tommy Bahamas’ flagship and many, many more. Stay tuned!

The Woodlands Is Also Home To Many Fashion Events….and More to Come
Habitat for Humanity Most Fashionable Gala chairs: Brenda Mizell, (in Jovani from Tootsies), Lynda Gustafson (from Macy’s), Mary Hazlett (Monique Lhuillier from Neiman Marcus) Lisa Koetting (Ralph Lauren from Nordstrom’s) and Suzanne Pagel (from Affinity)
Awhile back I was invited by Linda and Paul David of PVA Events, to be a guest at a couple of events in the Woodlands that I was assured would be the best fashion events for me to check out, that would give me a taste of The Woodlands fashion customer, what she likes and where she shops I first visited Kendra Scott Jewelry Store grand opening that benefited Habitat for Humanity Montgomery County’s 25th Anniversary Gala and it was a history maker for the fashion jewelry company as well, as it broke all opening night records for them. Then later I took part in their Gala evening for the same charity, whose theme was “There’s No Place Lke Home.” MCHFH hosted hundreds of great looking Woodlandites donning their very best for a stunning evening that raised over $500,000 for their efforts.
Party goers at the Habitat for Humanity Gala; Lisa Koetling and Shelly Sauer, chair of Art Project for Gala for 2nd year.
Gala attendees, Larry Abston, with Anadarko Petroleum was the Humanitarian award winner for the evening; Kim and Robert Marling, Kim representing The Woodforest Charitable Foundation, Robert is CEO of Woodforest National Bank…the couple were Foundatiion/Corporate Honorees for the evening; on their right, co-chair Brenda Mizell
So, who would have thought I had to go to The Woodlands to get to visit with my friend and neighbor, Lisa Malosky, who was awesome as M.C. for the Gala.
After their roaring success at the pre-party, Kendra Scott team was at the Gala doing their KS Pull for lots of great jewelry…..I waited too long, it was a sell-out!
Decor was exquisite and executed beautifully by planner, Linda McIngvale
