What is White Linen Nights?
Started by New Orleans natives Chris and Kay Thayer, White Linen Night in The Heights is the hot event this weekend. The event was originally inspired by residents dressed in white linen in The French Quarter Arts district in New Orleans, and it has been so successful that it is in its 8th year here in Houston. It was first meant to bring 19th street more traffic, but has since expanded into a neighborhood wide event. The event will be held this Saturday August 2nd from 6-10 pm and admission is free!
Art, great food and drinks, and music will be the entertainment for the evening with Tacos a Go Go, Vinal Edge Records and John Palmer Art as some of the many participants.
