Show your sweethearts how much you love them with a home-cooked meal – with the help of The Butcher Shop at B&B. The take-out menu for 2 people includes your choice of 2 appetizers, an entrée, 1 side and 2 desserts plus complimentary chocolate covered strawberries. The entrées are ready-to-cook (instructions are included) while the appetizers and sides are ready-to-reheat. You are also able to pre-order the same flower arrangement to pick-up with your food with a 48-hour notice. This Valentine’s Day, downtown Houston’s swoon-worthy destination Guard and Grace will offer a special three-course prix fix dinner menu ($95 per person) Friday, February 12 through Sunday, February 14. Enjoy menu highlights such as the Lobster Pot Pie with butternut squash, potato, fennel and brandy cream sauce, Beef Wellington with mushroom duxelles, foie gras and truffle, and Tupelo Honey Cheesecake with charred strawberry jam, champagne brittle gel and pecan speculos. Romance is in the air at swanky River Oaks District eatery, Le Colonial. On Valentine’s Day, the restaurant is offering a three-course prix fixe menu ($85 per person) with a selection of signature dishes and notable additions. Special menu highlights include the Yellowtail Crudo (Hiramasa) with wasabi, lime caviar, crispy shallots, shiso, and preserved lemon pulp; Pan Seared Seabass (Ca CheinDacBiet) with seabass, bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and lobster coconut broth; and 1.5 lb. A Peche-Inspired Valentine’s Dinner with Chris & Lindsey – Virtual Class (February 13). You may have heard that Chef Chris & Lindsey Brown eloped in New Orleans right after Christmas. Frequent Underbelly Hospitality guest chef Ryan Prewitt officiated. His restaurant Peche was not only the location of Chris and Lindsey’s first date but also where they celebrated their marriage on December 26.
