All Things Leather for Fall

One of our absolute favorite things about fall would have to be LEATHER. Once those cooler months hit, I know I pull out my leather jacket immediately, if not sooner. And while the leather moto jacket is of utmost importance for your fall wardrobe, there’s so much more out there when it comes to our most favorite fabric, leather. This year, we want to fill our closets with a leather skirt, a couple pairs of leather pants, leather tops, and of course shoes, bags, and, yes, even jewelry. Keep on scrolling for lots of leather inspiration and some favorites you can shop right here from MRG. What’s your favorite leather item in your closet?

Dresses

This year, you don’t have to just wear your leather dress solo. Layer it over shirts and even other dresses, and don’t forget to add a belt for a little something extra.

Jackets

In terms of leather jackets, the moto style will always be my favorite, but don’t be afraid to try oversized and cropped. As well, branch out with colors; you don’t have to stick to just black.

Pants

From skinny leg to ankle length to wide leg and cropped, leather pants are front and center this season. Pair them with booties, heels, or even sneaks to take you from work to errands to a night out.

Shorts

While you might not immediately think about shorts during the colder months, they can certainly work. If it’s chilly up by you already, pair them with tights and sneaks or booties. If it’s not so chilly yet (Houston, I’m talking to you), you can wear them bare leg, just add a long sleeve shirt or a sweater or blazer over it, and remember to not show too much leg. The right length is key.

Skirts

Leather skirts will always be a staple during the cooler months. Whether midi, knee length, short (not too short, though!), pleated, they are so versatile and look great with so many different pieces, and with all sorts of shoes (yes, even your kicks!). We’re loving colors, too, such as brown, tan, jewel tones, and grey.

Tops

Yes, you’ll be seeing leather tops, too! Short sleeves, sleeveless, long sleeve, and you’ll even see below one with lace, which is beautiful.

Vests

If it’s not too cold where you are yet, go for a leather vest. It still can take on that moto vibe  if you’d like, and it’ll still keep you fairly warm when paired with a longer sleeve shirt or sweater. It’s just another leather option that we love.

Accessories

And then there are, of course, accessories. From bags to shoes to jewelry, too, leather isn’t just for apparel this year.
