Last Thursday the MRG team attended the Tootsies Fresh Faces event at the Marriott Marquis and hands down the fashion statement of the night was earrings! Back in January Julie wrote a post Statement Earrings for Spring which called out the trend, but who knew it would still be around 6 months later? Sometimes these trends are just that, trendy, and go as fast as they come. However statement earrings has transitioned into summer with fun, vibrant colors and the bigger the better!
Heather here today to share some of my favorites from luxe designers to affordable fashions. So after a bit of research and help from Tootsies staff, I discovered that the tropical, yet flirty, bird earrings that were modeled at the event were from Mercedes Salazar. She is a Columbian designer with limited distribution but worth looking up. You can see two of her creations below.
