This fall Pantone has forecast PINK as the it colour for fall, carrying on to winter and into the Spring/Summer Collection 2016. The timing could not be better as we wear the color that represents a cause we all believe in, Breast Cancer Prevention Month…..but this time it happens to also be in Fashion! From Blush to Bubblegum to Pink Dust to Fuchsia, and including the subtlety of Mauve. Softer pinks embrace a more feminine side contrasting with the colder seasons.

We have seen this colour glisten on the runway with Dolce & Gabbana paving the way to this colour trend. Easily we can take inspiration from their collection by adding dusty pink pieces paired with black or darker colors such as emerald which is seeing a come back this fall. Rich green adds more depth to the overall outfit and a-list factor. I also love this colour against camel.

Chanel has shown this feminine trend in their own tweed sophisticated style that remains timeless. If you are not ready for the pale pastel blush pink we are seeing then you can ease yourself into this trend by pairing a cute pink tweed blazer with jeans.

Looking at just adding a touch of pink then this season Prada and Fendi have an array of clutches and bags to keep you in the blush while Prada tops the accessories poll with their unique styled broaches.

As we are moving into a colder season, Im feeling it when leaving my apartment in the morning, finding myself reach for my pink Alexander McQueen scarf to keep my neck warm and my trusting go-to beige blazer (I know we all have that go-to jacket that goes with everything!). I love fall for mixing layers, I think it makes us plan our outfits better, put more effort in as it’s a lot harder to coordinate everything. I love this part! My outfit for a date with the girls was simply faded jeans, pink blush jersey top with a silk see-through leopard print strapy top over it. Simple! This seasons colour is very easy to wear with so many different shades to match all skin tones.
