Every year around this time, we are on the lookout to see what Pantone will announce as the next year’s color. The chosen hue provides inspiration in fashion, decor, and design for the year to come. This year’s color…….VIVA MAGENTA!! We are particularly fond of Viva Magenta as it comes from the red family – and you know we love the color red! One thing that got our immediate attention when hearing that the color Magenta would be our newest Pantone color was the similarity to the former ‘colors of the year’……..Fuschia and Hot Pink!! We have attempted to illustrate the differences here below…….Hot Pink has more pink in it; Fuschia, more purple and Magenta more to the red-family.
