We have Francene back today because she recently got a private tour of the brand new Tod’s store in The Galleria, and she’s here to tell us all about it. Keep scrolling for fabulous photos, too. The ladies of My Red Glasses have been out gallivanting again, but this time in The Galleria! It may be my favorite place in Houston, especially the Luxury wing! Audrey (the amazing MRG summer intern) and I ventured out to meet with Ashley Pearce, Senior Vice President for Dancie Perugini Ware Public Relations, who kindly took time out to show us around their newcomer, Tod’s! They recently opened their doors to their brand new location on the 1st of June.
Italian luxury leather goods brand, the name we all know by now, Tod’s. The boutique is divided into women’s and men’s areas beautifully. It hosts Tods renowned footwear, accessories and leather goods. The shop is decorated elegantly and sophisticated. It’s a very welcoming atmosphere, and the staff members were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the brand.
I wanted to pick out the key pieces that caught my eye, which I know all our readers will agree with me are fabulous!
Your Go-To Casual Shoe – Their Driving shoes and loafers are found in an array of colours scattered around the beautifully decorated store. After a number of wears, the best thing about the leather is how it forms to your foot, ensuring the most amazing fit! This is a versatile and well-made design that is a wardrobe must-have (and one we all know and love)! Question is what colour would you purchase? There is so much choice! My favorite are these Gold Loafers.
As well as their leather shoe designs, they have Ballet flats, which is my usual everyday pick, as well as gorgeous leather sandals just in time for the sun to come out! These would look great with a summers dress or high waisted shorts.
From Joy to Cape to Flower, they really have picked the most delightful summery names for their new bag collection. Joy is their equivalent of the classic tote. Flower bags come in pale pastel colours, ideal colours that will go with most of your wardrobe. We love the tassel detailing.
Not only are they famous for leather shoes and bags, but they have a stunning collection of accessories, from colourful belts to trendy sunglasses. I have picked out my favorite pair already.
Always wanting to give you inside information, Tod’s Gommino Driving Shoes now come in four limited edition colours, exclusive to Houston. You need to hurry because these only have one of each size.
Now it wouldn’t be fair if it was just all about the ladies right?! I mean Father’s day is coming up on Sunday, and ideas are always welcomed, even at the last minute! If you are looking for a signature gift then why not speak to Tod’s about their loafers which can be embroidered with initials and personalized with leather detailing in your chosen colours.
Tod’s joined forces with Ferrari for a limited collection. The iconic racing-inspired white stripes, design, leather and colours are a tribute to the history of the automobile manufacturer of the 1950s and relationships between the brands.
It wouldn’t be Tod’s if they didn’t have their own Driving Shoe collection for the fellas!
