This past Saturday Neiman Marcus Houston Galleria kicked off their semi-annual Beauty Week promotion, Project Beauty, with a runway show in their store. This event, always so popular with all of its clientele is always a sold-out event and this season was no exception. As someone that has always loved to attend this early morning event that is both entertaining and informative, I was especially honored to co-host this time with the talented Courtney Zavala, co-host of TV’s Houston Life local daytime talk show.
It was such fun to visit, immediately after the show, Neiman’s first floor cosmetic world that was all abuzz with customers swarming the counters in search of the many new products that we heard about from the show and also all of the great gifts that each line was offering. If you haven’t been there, remember that the Beauty Week continues through September 21st and is available instore and/or online. The Free Tote Giveaway is your choice from a wonderful threesome of Equestrian-inspired colors and criteria is a $125 purchase. This year there is the addition of a Stacked Skincare Roller, with all purchases $350 or more.
Below are some of the highlights of the runway show which featured 10 very special brands that are significant participants in Beauty Week. They were Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Givenchy, Guerlain, March Jacobs, Sisley, Tom Ford and Trish McEvoy. Walking the runway and sharing in the fun with Courtney and I are Neiman Marcus Beauty Specialists and Brand Partners that not only spread the word on many of their newest product introductions but helped us with the many giveaways that NM provided. Gift for the crowd, in addition to stuffed goodie bags, ranged from elegant gift sets from each line to some of the fun beauty trinkets such as lip glosses, eye liners, sample skin care and much more. All-in-all it was a fun hour of beauty that only opened the gate to the great activities with more to try and in many cases receive as the group were ushered to the Neiman’s palatial cosmetic floor.
