If you’re like me, a music lover my entire life, you could say it’s in my DNA, you are probably  seeking, maybe unknowingly, for a special experience that’s not just a concert where you and thousands of others can jam with lots of loud music that you must enjoy from afar. If that describes you then you are probably searching for that unique musical evening, in an intimate setting,  where you can enjoy a much needed  date night with friends.  Making it even more special would also be the chance to hear legendary entertainers,  like Diana Ross, Tony Bennet, or maybe even Earth Wind & Fire, you know those amazing talents that you rarely have the opportunity to see perform live any more as they have removed themselves from the touring circuit…..then this is for you!

Welcome to Music With Friends, an exclusive club providing unforgettable performances for a select audience.  As a subscriber to this private, members-only club you are invited to attend three performances per year. Each of these performances happens within the Zilka Hall of Hobby Center.  A venue so intimate that its orchestra section is only 14 rows deep, so that each performance feels like a private program just for you. You will be entertained at each performance by a beautifully catered cocktail pre-show reception, a 90 minute performance and then followed by a fun after party where you can share with friends the excitement and fun of the recent experience.  It is a night filled with the splendor of a unique musical experience that you were able to share with friends.

Music With Friends is looking forward to seeing returning and new members at the first show of the 2018 Season as they invite all to “Join Hands on a Love Train” with the O’Jays on Tuesday April 3, 2018.

Music With Friends is thrilled to present “The Sound of Philadelphia and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, 2005, whose chart topping R & B classics include, “Back Stabbers” and  “Livin’ for the Weekend” and many others including their blockbuster hit “Love Train”.  “The O’Jays have been together for over 50 years and still exude a contagious vibe that makes it hard to stay in your seat. We are delighted to now include them on the Houston Music with Friends roster of legendary performers!! ” says the MWF facebook page…..please look there or on Music With Friends website for more details on this exciting performance only two weeks away!
