Hello all, this is Vicheka here! I had the pleasure of attending Midici’s tasting the night prior to their opening and was blown away by the quality, flavor, and ambiance!
Midici believes that this is a place to socialize, to put away your cell phones, distractions, and connect with those around you. They believe “The best meals always have your friends circled around the table.”
The first thing you notice when you walk in is the kitchen, also known as the “heart”. The two kiss chocolate-shaped ovens immediately caught my attention. Surrounded by windows, the entire dining space has plenty of natural light and the addition of the olive tree in the middle of the room, adds for a refreshing calm ambiance.
Moving on to their food..
Known for their fresh ingredients, most being non-gmo products, Midici uses only four ingredients (traditional Neapolitan style) for the dough: double zero flour imported from Naples, sea salt, pure water, and live yeast and the crazy part, baked and ready to be savored in 90 seconds!
Some of their popular pizzas include : the classic Margherita Pizza, the Truffle & Proscuitto di San Daniele, and the Egg n’ Bacon Pizza.
Aside from pizza, they serve a variety of other items from burrata to salads to gelato.
Appetizers include : Housemade meatballs with smoked Mozzarella and Burrata with melon & prosciutto di San Daniele. As for salads : La Dolce Vita Salad and the Midici Salad. Lastly, desserts include the popular Nutella Calzone and Affogato!
