Just in time for the holidays, a new accessories and gift brand including a line of lightweight scarves featuring the work of local Houston artists, has come out. Manoosh was created by three generations of women, Marilyn Biles, her daughter Nancy Guthrie, and Nancy’s soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Anna Wilson. Their goal was to make art more accessible and take it out of the galleries and into the everyday, which can be seen not only on the scarves, but also on the calendars and greeting cards. The line will be available at all three Tootsies locations for the upcoming holiday season and online at www.FromManoosh.com.
Last week Julie Rhodes Fashion and Home hosted a launch party for the brand. Coming up on Wednesday, November 19th, L’erant will be hosting a Manoosh trunk show (10am-5pm) and personal appearance (5pm-7pm). A percentage of sales will benefit Nora’s Home.
Scarves available in a lightweight cashmere modal blend and 100% cashmere
