On the 1st of September Madewell opened its door in their new location in lovely Highland Village! Many people ventured out to celebrate their new shop. Customers enjoyed delicious cocktails, fine canapés whilst listening to a DJ and viewing their newest arrivals in store. For every purchase they received a cute Bien Fait tote bag – beautiful touches to the evening.
Unless you aren’t already aware, Madewell is known for their quality jeans since 1937, not only are they famous for their denim but also their delicate jewelry, like the stunning crossbow studs and also lace dresses like their burgundy one (perfect fall colour!), paired with the sandals I have my eyes on and, the Octavia. For a little bit of background, Madewell is J. Crew’s fabulous cousin. From simple dresses and casual chic items you can see the connection between the two.
The current highlight is the layout of styles around the store beautifully ready for fall and their signature Denim Bar. Their signature Denim Bar is designed to show you what their jeans can do for your body, how they look and each different style. I love how they style their looks and layer all of their pieces. My favorite is their high riser skinny jeans, hiding a multitude of sins!
I love this store due to the fact it really does have everything you might need for your wardrobe! From cute shorts and their famous jeans to tees and swimwear not forgetting accessories to go with every occasion. Decorated perfectly with quirky pictures and quotes, the store is organized in a manner that allows you to shop better, with great outfit ideas displayed and pairings matched from their cute boots to plaid shirts.
If you haven’t already checked out their new location please make it a point to go in and have a look – I know you won’t come out empty handed. Curious I’m sure you are to know what I purchased and I don’t like to disappoint our MRG readers; at the moment I’m in love with gold rings and they had the perfect selection for me to choose from so I had to add to my already expanding collection (I blame my first event at Swarovski for my obsession with rings!)
