Leather Dressing No Longer a Trend But a Basic Wardrobe Essential
O.K., so I’m a LOL….a lover of leather! I think that it is a must have for well styled women, particularly some of the pieces that we have highlighted below. There are a few tips to note as we look at leather and the benefits of owning leather pieces, particularly in an area like Texas. It should also be said, that the news about Leather this season is really no news as it has become such a wardrobe basic that it is a fashion idea to be built upon. Buy wisely and you can add to your pieces each season…..a great leather piece like a cool jacket (always most modern over a dress or newest over cocktail), a great leather pant or skirt and the newest entree onto the leather scene, the dress are all items that you should own and wear season after season.
Leather 411’s that you probably all know
*Fits into your wardrobe as a great transitional piece for all climates and ALL seasons (great way to bring Fall into your wardrobe early in Texas)
*As a wardrobe BASIC, leather is a prime candidate for investment dressing…spend well, go for quality and it will remain in your wardrobe for years
*It has become a year round fabric for designers to use and love and so, even in Texas, Spring leather, which looks great in white, and seasonal colors can be worn in this air conditioned town as well.
*Lastly, styling leather is in the eye of the beholder or fashionista in this case. Whether you wear it head-to-toe is a matter of choice. For me, it’s a pop of leather that is my preference, one piece contrasted with another fabric looks the most chic!
