Local jewelry designer, Christina Greene, is launching her 17th addition to her brand since its beginning in 2011 and it could not be more special to the designer. It is her first collection for brides and it was designed for her own very special wedding day last summer in Colorado. The bridal collection was debuted to bridesmaids and groomsmen at the ceremony before it launches, now in November, to the public.
“Jewelry is such a personal accessory and I wanted to create an elegant line that reflected the personalities of each friend and family member who stood by my side on that special day,” says Christina Greene McAllen, founder and designer, who named the pieces in the new collection after her wedding party. “I always knew I wanted to wear my own designs at my wedding and I’m thrilled to share that memory with those who helped make that day so special.”
The Bridal Jewelry Collection, which has been in the works since Christina’s engagement in summer of 2018, features 23 styles of earrings, bracelets, rings and necklaces made with crystal quartz stones ranging in price from $80 to $470. All pieces in the collection are made with 18k gold plating over hypoallergenic and nickel-free brass. Each item is curated to match any wedding style. In fact, the designer is offering the option for clients to customize certain pieces from this collection with pale blue sapphires as the bride’s “something blue”, as the designer added a blue sapphire stone to the center of each flower in the Christina Crystal Earrings.
