Get ready, Houstonians! Downtown is continuing to transform to a hip up-and-coming area! A great new resident high-rise, thank you Hines and our newest Food Hall, unique in that it is chef-driven!
Aris Market Square, Hines’ first downtown multifamily residential high-rise is ready for tenants to move in and currently has a chef hall in the works. Gerlald Hines has played a huge part in Houston’s Downtown Scene, including One Shell Plaza, 609 Main at Texas, and Bank of America Center Houston. From pet parlor to bike repair shop to a chef hall, Aris Market Square’s vision is all about creating a space that provides amenities for residents and for those who live in the neighborhood.

The 9th floor includes the “Hi-Fidelity” vinyl listening room, laptop lounge with adjacent library, State-of-the-art fitness center, pool with the Houston Skyline view, open-air terrace lounge with outdoor fireplace, outdoor entertainment and covered cooking area with gas grills, and much more!
And then to add cherry on top, Bravery Chef Hall will be opening at 409 Travis Street as well. From the same owner as Conservatory, Houston’s first food hall, and Prohibition Supper club & Bar, Anh Mai and Lai Nguyen now brings to you Houston’s first chef hall. With 9,100 square-feet restaurant space, Bravery Chef Hall will consist of five open-kitchen stations, owned and operated by chefs, each with their own dining concept. Each “station will accommodate between 30-40 guests in a counter-side seating format centered around the chef.”
The Chef Hall will be managed by sommelier and veteran restauranteur Shepard Ross. David Guerrero of Andes Café, Ben McPherson formerly of Krispy Bird & Batter, and Gary Ly formerly of Underbelly will each have their own kitchen, and two chefs to be announced. There will also be “two separate wine bars and one coffee and pastry counter”. Bravery Chef Hall is slated to open Summer 2018. David Haltom, Director at Hines states “the interactive dining experience complements the lively neighborhood, and we look forward to enhancing the area’s living experience together.”
