Founder of Heart of Fashion, Vivian Wise, receives her first night kudos with many more to follow, as HOF kicks off for Houston. This first time effort was nearly flawless and unique to our city. Congrats to Vivian and her team for a spectacular show…..and it was all in the details!
It seems hard to believe that in the whirlwind that has been going on here in Houston, that Heart of Fashion has actually come and gone. This inaugural event, conceptualized by our town’s Vivian Wise, who worked with such a talented team that included Lenny Matezewski and Tamara Bonar, Ceron, Aubrie Lane, Todd Events and Charles Ward to name a few key players. The Transformation of Millionaire Houston Hangar alone was pretty spectacular with every detail attended to. All of this and the fact that this event, not only brought us three great nights of fashion event and fun partying for all that attended but was a major philanthropic endeavor as well…..giving back to designated charities in the community….Meals on Wheels, Legacy Community Health Services and Butterflys and Bandages.
Designers represented were:
Night #1: Cushnie et Ochs presented by Neiman Marcus; Angel Sanchez by Elizabeth Anthony and Norisol Ferrari presented by Tootsies.
Night #2: Boys’ Night with Eleventy by M. Penner; La Isla Swimwear and Valobra Fine Jewelry
Night #3: L.A.’s Peter Cohen for Tootsies; local emerging designer Paola Contreras; Dallas-based Abi Ferrin and the final presented by Emanuel Ungaro for Sloan Hall.
The following are some of the fun pics gathered to show a taste of what this unique fashion event was about for Houston……
