Emmy Awards Return Brought Glam Back to the Awards Shows…..

The Emmy’s were back on Sunday evening and with it came the Award show glam that we have been used to. It was so refreshing and gratifying to see such refined high-fashion and style on the Red Carpet after last week’s edgy twist for the Met’s Gala. Even the guys had some stepped-up fashion and not just the classic black tuxedo to show.

There were some definite trends from the night……certainly COLOR took center stage with only Kate Winslet and Jean Smart in classic black, stunning on both but certainly not dominant. The other trend that I personally loved was the recurring numbers of trains that were present……from Anya Taylor-Joy’s billowing yellow to Keri Russel’s light beaded and feathered sheer. Such an elegant look. Lastly, was inclusivity that was very apparent on the Red Carpet.
