Whether you want to warm up from these frigid days, take a break from the kids or pamper yourself, a luxurious long bath always does the trick to put your mind and body at ease. Nicole here and I feel that we used to be limited to a bubble bath but now there are so many amazing products that really transform your bathtub into a full-on spa experience.
When taking a bath, I love to multi-task and simultaneously wear a hair treatment, face mask and pour body softening oils in the bathwater while reading a book or playing my favorite sitcom on my iPad. I like emerging from my bath not only feeling amazing but looking it too!
Here are all the bath and beauty products we found so your hair, body and face look nourished and hydrated:
Face
I found these sheet masks from celebrity facialist Joanna Vargas (her clients are Julianne Moore, Karlie Kloss and Naomi Watts) which are packed with hyaluronic acid, kelp (which has Vitamin A, B E, and C) and gingko biloba extract for its anti-inflammatory properties. These anti-aging glow masks promise to instantly hydrate and make fine lines and wrinkles disappear. Sign me up.
Body
From bath bombs to bubble baths, there really is a product for every taste! If you want to soak in sophisticated bubbles this white tea and honeysuckle bubble bath is fragrant and therapeutic. You can also play with fizzy bath bombs which turn your bathwater in different colors and infuse the water with a delicate soap and scent.
If your skin is dry from this cold winter then a shower oil which emulsifies and turns milky when water is added, will hydrate and clean your skin in one step. You can also get rid of your dry skin by exfoliating with this virgin coconut oil and floral Moroccan body polish. This one is vegan, has no fillers and will look lovely as décor on your sink or tub.
Hair
One of my favorite things to take care of is my hair because it’s so low-maintenance; you put on your hair mask and forget about it till the end of your bath. With hair treatments, the more you wear it, the better your hair will look. This transformative treatment mask not only smells luscious but it moisturizes hair without weighing it down, it’s keratin and color safe and it restores hair to its youthful healthy appearance. This is the ideal choice if you overdid it with the hot styling tools and hair products during the holidays.
Aromatherapy
Candles have always been the go-to aromatherapy of choice when taking a bath but I see oil diffusers pop up in spas replacing them. Oil diffusers can be used with essential oils so the aromatherapy is more intense and the fun part so you can mix oil scents or use them according to your mood. I like using the orange essential oil for an energizing morning and a relaxing eucalyptus-lavender before bedtime.
If you don’t want to use an oil diffuser, you can always do the old fashioned application of an aromatic stress treatment oil on your temples and breathe deeply and slowly to relax.
When you’re done and are feeling completely relaxed I suggest wrapping yourself in a plush bathrobe before getting back to reality.

that was fabulous! I would use ALL the products. Through this incredible cold I have taken several hot baths but only used a couple of products. Really liked this one.
And……..I moved back to Houston from South Florida so these temperatures are unbelievable for me!!
Thanks!

Hi Audrey,
Great to hear from you and Happy New Year! Happy you liked this as for me there is nothing better, even when it’s so cold out, than a nice warm, rejuvenating bath. Skin is horrifically dry and using some of these products in your bath will definitely help with your dry cold-weather skin.
