This past month has been quite a roller coaster ride, to say the least. From solar eclipse to multiple hurricane happenings all over – there is so much to take in. However, it’s nice to see that during these crucial times fate in humanity is restored.
The amount of support from all over has truly been humbling! Another one to add to the list connects New York to Houston – Chef Daniel Berg ( Brother of Ben Berg of B&B Butchers and Restaurant) at Yves, a casual hangout in NYC’s TRIBECA. In order to show support for all of those who have been affected including his own brother, whose home is still underwater, created a menu where 100% off proceeds from his NYC restaurant will benefit the Houston Food Bank. Dish includes : Chipotle Braised Short beef ribs, charcroute cole slaw, homemade cornbread with tobacco butter, paired with a whiskey cocktail ($38). Limited days ending September 18th.
