Aurelie Bidermann, Jewelry Designer in town from Paris, visiting and showing her jewels at her friend, Laure Hereiard-Dubreuel’s store, The Webster in the Houston Galleria
Life was very, very busy before I left the country for Italy for a couple of weeks, but I made time before leaving to make a stop at The Webster in Houston’s Galleria to chat with Aurélie, the boutique owner’s dear friend who had come to town from Paris with her beautifully sophisticated collection of jewels. Her name is Aurelie Bidermann, and I was familiar with her collection from having seen it over time in Barney’s Manhattan flagship.
We had a very spirited, fun time chatting about Aurelie’s cherished grandmother to whom she attributes her knowledge of and apparent great sense of style to. Also the fact that she was looking so amazing having had a baby just a few weeks prior to our visit was unbelievable!
I ran out of time in all of the craziness of leaving the country during September fashion month and was unable to share that experience with my readers before leaving. So as I sat on my Air France plane with a lay-over that due to delays ended up being several hours in Paris’ Charles De Gaul airport, I kept thinking about Aurelie’s jewelry and the display window that she was given at the newly renovated Ritz Hotel, and her stores that she described in Paris. I so much wanted to take a taxi into that great city for just a glimpse but of course, you know how delays go….we were not allowed to leave. However, it did give me the time I needed to reflect back on this collection and why I liked it so much…….chic, simple, unique/one-of-a-kind pieces. The following are some of my photos of what was available then at The Webster and also from Aurelie’s newest Lookbook, some styles that I loved but there were far too many, so a visit to her website by clicking here, would be so enjoyable!
