Situated at 1100 Westheimer Rd., Drake’s Hollywood Houston is the third location of this chic eatery, joining its sister spots in Los Angeles and Dallas. Walking in, you’re immediately transported to a different time. The richly layered interiors, complete with original Hollywood-inspired artworks, strike the perfect balance between vintage glamour and modern comfort. It’s the kind of place where you could dress up for a special occasion or slip in for a casual dinner, and either way, you’d feel right at home.

I started with the Spicy Salmon Crispy Rice, which delivered the perfect kick with gochujang and serrano pepper. For the main course, the Pasta Za Za—rigatoni with a delicious chili flake and parmesan blend—hit all the right notes. Of course, I couldn’t leave without trying their signature “World’s Coldest Martini,” and let me tell you, it lives up to the hype.
