The time is moving faster and faster these days and although it’s not so hard to believe that Summer has come, we’ve all definitely felt it, but it is hard to believe that it will be going away soon. (at least on the calendar!)
This Summer has been super-charged so far. It makes you wonder where the ‘lazy days of summer’ went? My newsletter has been held back from hitting your inboxes due to a few significant interruptions. First the “derecho” storm, a first that I had ever heard of, on my birthday, followed closely with a mid-week holiday that absorbed the entire week for most and then immediately after it was Beryl…..a July Hurricane…..a familiar storm at an unfamiliar time, early!!
Here is wishing all of you, a great balance of the heated months ahead here in H-town and hoping that you will visit the many retailers and restaurants that have survived it all to keep their doors open for all of us to escape to! Great deals are a plenty out there and a little shopping can be great therapy for living in the heat!
If you are some of the lucky ones, you have fled to different surroundings….so wherever you are here’s wishing you all the best recovery possible!
