It is with such sadness that I must miss this event as I will be working in Italy on one of my regular scheduled trips. I am a huge fan of Diaper Foundation founder, Hope Ewing and admire her for all of the little, and mostly unnoticed things that she does in our community to support less advantaged Moms and their babies. What greater need does a Mom have that just to simply keep her baby in dry diapers? The reality is that the government doesn’t give allowances for diapers for babies and any one that has had a child knows the costliness of keeping your babies dry. Thanks to Tootsies owners, the Lewis’s and Store Manager, Shelley Taylor Ludwig, who first introduced me to this cause, Diaper Foundation is celebrating its 10th Anniversary at Tootsies on October 9 with a night of fun, fashion and philanthropy. Please make an effort to make it by there as the fashions are great and the cause is one very special one.

As Hope Ewing has been quoted as saying:

“Making a difference, one diaper at a time.” This small act of giving can make such a difference in the well-being of a child and it’s struggling Mom!
