Famed Texas hotel brand known for its luxe boutique properties in both Dallas and Houston, that took the city by storm with its Museum District location is now opening a second and much anticipated hot spot in the Memorial City area on December 1.
The hotel group, Z Resorts Management, LLC, that is one of the leaders in the boutique hotel sector and has offered a lavish destination for many memorable events and celebrity guests here in Houston, has partnered with well known H-town developers, Metro National to spread its wings to open their much anticipated second location, the Memorial City hotel that boasts a special feature, The McCarthy, luxury high rise living above.
We were fortunate to be able to preview this building, which includes the Hotel ZaZa and residential property, The McCarthy, above, recently, while still under construction. The Hotel is slated to open this Friday, December 1 at the site of Bunker Hill and Interstate 10. It includes 14,000 square feet and offers 159 rooms on floors 1-10, including Hotel ZaZa’s trademarked Magnificent Seven Suites. The McCarthy, floors 11-17, which will begin showings in January is slated to open in February 2018.

The Tipping Point…ZaZa’s featured in-house restaurant will be a special gathering spot on its first floor for al fresco dining and lounge experiences. It is located adjacent to the exquisite pool area.
The Beach Club at Hotel ZaZa Memorial City is an enticing and imaginative refuge for all. Featuring specialty cocktails this setting provides an excellent space for al fresco dining, relaxing, basking in the sun or for a fun event.
The Memorial City location offers over 11,000 square feet of rooms available for social events, business meetings, weddings, fashion installations and more.
Hotel ZaZa Memorial City, will include the signature ZaSpa offering its complete treatment menu, available in its luxurious space or also offering many of its treatments in the guest rooms as well. Also on-site is the Fitness Center featuring all of the latest equipment.
This inviting spacious walkway to each and every room in the hotel offers an array of original artwork as an entry into many of its lavish rooms and Magnificent Seven Suites that offer a sensory experience that we have become used to in their Museum area hotel. About the McCarthy…
One of the unique features of this new Metro National development is the addition of The McCarthy, 133 luxury apartment units, spanning floors 11-17, above Hotel ZaZa. It will include an array of residential choices ranging from studios to one bedroom to two-bedroom units. It will feature it’s own separate ground level private pool experience and 17th floor resident lounge, game and conference rooms. As a real plus, it will have access to ZaZa amenities, including ZaSpa and Tipping Point restaurant and also, its concierge services, as well.
