Milan fashion was fun on it’s own but much of the ‘icing’ came from the special signature accessories that completed so many of the looks. In Handbags, function took back seat to fun, frivolous and often-times exotic fashion! From feathers to bold color to embellishments on bags and straps…..the name of the game in Handbags was novelty, and fun, fun, fun!
Eyeglasses were round and in a multitude of colors and I was smitten with the wonderful array brightly colored gloves at all lengths, particularly Fendi’s above-the-elbow length. They featured purple but you may recall the bright yellow ones that I purchased on my fall trip to Italy!?
